Wavelab 11 is available at the full price of €501.99 EUR, but there are a lot of different upgrade options ranging from Wavelab 10 to Wavelab Cast, and occasional sales (not frequent, though) have been known to happen in the past. I would also love to mention the work Steinberg is doing with the Wavelab YouTube channel, as they are uploading great content to showcase new features and also longer Q&A or Tips and Tricks sections that can help hone our skills as well as get familiar with the software.

Improvements in the track and lanes management with a simple yet powerful way to add clip effects and envelopes make this Wavelab Pro version impressive. One-knob effects and restoration tools, in addition to the podcast hosting support, are a great choice for all podcasters, whether they are audio professionals or they need just a few clicks to get started. The podcast features are something unique to this software. The plug-ins are curated in detail and they sound great, to the extent that I wish I could have Squasher and Frequency 2 in my DAW. Wavelab Pro 11 pushes mastering forward with a vast array of new functions dedicated not only to simplifying and speeding up the workflow, but also provides formidable new tools such as Supervision, Frequency 2, Squasher, and DeReverb (to name a few). Lastly, Podcast Hoster support allows us to upload our podcast directly to Buzzsprout, Castro, PodBean, Soundcloud, and Spreaker. New ducking options make it easier to have control over a modulator track and the ducked one, with advanced ducking controls over the threshold, attenuation amount, hold time, shapes for fade out, and fade-ins. I particularly loved the Enhance section with the Exciter giving instant clarity and brightness, while I suggest being more cautious with the DeNoiser because, as usual, artifacts can jump in pretty easily while we concentrate on the removed noise floor. The Inspector now includes DeHummer, DeNoiser, DeEsser, Voice Exciter, Reverb, EQ, and Maximizer. These provide one-knob controls that are perfect for blazing-fast workflows that can save time or headaches for those who are less familiar with mixing and audio restoration. First, it is easy to import, record, and arrange a podcast with what was already in Wavelab, but in addition to that, now we can find in the track Inspector the Clean and Enhance sections. Wavelab Pro 11 inherits the same functions and possibilities as Wavelab Cast, which are amazing for podcast creators. Podcasts are getting even more popular than ever, and it is essential to have the right tools to create, mix, adjust, fix and polish them. There are so many new features and improvements that it would be hard to cover in a single article, but we will dive into the main ones. Some of them appeared originally in Cubase and Nuendo, such as Frequency 2, Squasher, and Quadrafuzz 2, but there are some great new tools available exclusively here, such as DeReverb and LIN Pro dithering. The new features move into several different territories, from multichannel file handling and editing, podcast production, stem mastering, and much more. As usual with Steinberg updates, the new release is rich in terms of features, improvements, tools, and functionality. Steinberg just released a new version of Wavelab, an incredibly powerful mastering application that got even bigger.
